Dr Devers practices “personalized medicine” therefore each patient’s plan will be slightly different, but in general at the first visit she will review any medical records you have brought and your intake form (or prior to the visit if possible) and will go through your history and symptoms in detail and perform an exam. She will likely discuss dietary and/or supplement recommendations and may order some lab tests. At the second visit she will review the lab test results, see if and how the plan from the first visit has helped, and make adjustments. The third visit will be spent fine tuning the plan.
This is a consultation practice. This means that Dr Devers does not provide general primary care and you will be required to have your own primary care provider. Dr Devers treats chronic medical problems, not acute or emergency medical problems. She will respond to emails and phone messages within 48 hours.
Dr Devers does not participate with any medical insurance companies. Payment for services is due at the time of your visit, payable by cash, check or credit card. She will provide you with a “superbill” at your visit, which you may submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement, but you may not be fully reimbursed. You are encouraged to investigate this with your insurance company prior to your visit.
Fees are as follows: 1st visit (90-120 min) $350, 2nd visit (60 min) $250, 3rd visit (45 min) $200. At your first visit, you have the option of purchasing the first 3 visits as a package for $700, a discount of $100. After the 3rd visit, future visits are billed in increments of $125 per 30 minutes. Telephone or telemedicine/internet video appointments are available, except for the first visit which must be in person, and are billed at the same rate.
You will receive an email reminder about your appointment one week prior. If you cancel 48 hours or less before your scheduled appointment time, or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged 1/2 the amount of the visit.
Dr Devers will always give you a hard copy of any labs she has ordered for you. If you require copies of her medical notes, she can provide you with an electronic copy for no charge. If you require additional copies of your labs, or printed copies of her medical records, there will be a $30 service fee.
